Fees and Categories

Registration Fees Table
Students (Students and young researchers - up to three years post-doctoral experience) 150€ - Early Fee
180€ - Late Fee
Seniors (Senior researcher) 250€ - Early Fee
300€ - Late Fee

Note: Registration fee includes access to all sessions, workshops (by registration), congress material, lunches and coffee-breaks

Registration Period

Regular: June 1st - July 17th

Late: July 18th - September 14th

Abstract Submission Guidelines

Call for Abstracts - from April 27th to May 22nd 2026

Notification of acceptance - Mid-June 2026

Late submissions will not be considered

Early-career researchers are particularly encouraged to submit abstracts for oral and poster presentations

1. Scope and Thematic Categories

Abstracts must align with the scientific scope of PVBS 2026, according to the following four topics:

a. Innovations and Emerging Technologies;

b. Applications in Infection Control and Disease Diagnostics;

c. Clinical Applications in Biofluids and Cancer;

d. Data Science and Clinical Translation

2. Abstract Format and Structure

Length Maximum 350 words
(excluding title, authors and affiliation)
Format Plain text.
Figures, tables, equations or references are not permitted in the abstract body
Author Information Full author names, institutional affiliations, city and country.
The presenting author must be clearly indicated (e-mail is needed for correspondence)
Content Original work not previously published or presented

Required Sections:

Abstracts should be structured under the following headings:

  • Background / Objective;

  • Methods;

  • Results;

  • Conclusions;

  • Ethical Statement (if applicable).

3. Presentation Format:

Abstracts may be selected for:

  • Oral Presentation;

  • Poster presentation.

The final decision will be made by the Scientific Committee following peer review.

4. Revew Process:

All abstract submitted to PVBS 2026 will undergo peer review by at least three independent reviewers.

Evaluation is based on quality, novelty and presentation. Notifications of acceptance will be sent to the presenting author by e-mail.

5. Publication of Abstracts:

All accepted abstract presented at PVBS 2026 will be collectively published in the official congress abstract book (eletronic edition).
